Shipping and Receiving Associate

Didion Orf Recycling is a leader in the recycling industry, specializing in the recovery and processing of scrap metals and electronics. We are committed to environmental sustainability and responsible recycling practices. We are looking for a Forklift Operator to join our Shipping and Receiving Team.

The Shipping and Receiving Associate will be responsible for: 

·         Inspecting and conducting inventory on all incoming and outgoing materials

·         Verifying items received with the ERP system.

·         Ensuring all material are packaged and labeled correctly. 

·         Perform quality control checks on purchased material.

·         Load and unload trailers and containers quickly and safely.

·         Accurately document incoming/outgoing weights.

·          Moving materials to dismantlers for breakdown as requested.

·         Stacking and organizing materials.

·         General housekeeping, maintaining a clean and safe work area.

·         Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years sit down forklift experience


• Must be 18+ years of age


• Ability to lift 50+lbs regularly


• Requires work in a non climate controlled warehouse 


• Face-to-face and radio communication required daily


• Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and employees


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
