Shipping & Receiving Associate

Position Summary

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of inbound and outbound materials while supporting daily logistics, inventory, and warehouse operations. This position works closely with Production, Quality, Logistics, and Transportation to ensure customer orders are fulfilled safely, accurately, and on time. This position is expected to contribute beyond traditional shipping and receiving responsibilities by supporting logistics operations, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement while helping the team deliver exceptional customer service.

Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required


• Two (2) or more years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics experience preferred


• Forklift experience preferred or ability to become certified required


• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and Google Workspace) required


• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required


• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment required


• Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred


• Inventory control or cycle counting experience preferred


• Experience with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (NetSuite, SAP, etc.) preferred


• Yard truck (yard horse) experience preferred


• Shipping and transportation experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods required.


• Lift up to 50 lbs required.


• Frequent bending, reaching, and sample handling


• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, and moving equipment required.


• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary

Work Schedule

• Full-time


• A Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday, 7:00AM - 7:30PM (2 openings available)


• C Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday, 7:00AM - 7:30PM (2 openings available)


• Occasional overtime as

Compensation

Salary Range:

$23.50/ hr plus shift differential ($2/hr Monday and Tuesday; $3/hr Wednesday and Sunday)
