Description
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk under the direction of the Shipping & Warehouse Manager will direct and coordinate logistics of the shipping and receiving function of the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
– Execute duties in the shipping and receiving function such as scheduling truck appointments, checking in drivers, answering emails and phone calls, processing shipping documents, and printing labels.
– Comply with company policies and requirements in the areas of shipping, receiving, and warehousing in addition to meeting audit regulations.
– Open, read, route, and distribute incoming emails or phone calls to the shipping desk.
– Audit receiving paperwork and system entries by FLO, report damages/rejections/missing products, and enter/scan receiving paperwork into the ERP system. Reviewing invoices to match pricing, and COAs, communicating with logistics providers and buyers/corporate procurement team.
– Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area at all times.
– Performs other related duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
– Able and willing to work overtime when required.
