Shipping & Receiving Clerk

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to ensure our materials and products move smoothly in and out of our facility. This is a full-time, non-exempt role reporting to the Manager of Property Management.

What You’ll Do

• Manage all aspects of shipping and receiving to meet daily deadlines
• Prepare shipments: package, create packing slips, and coordinate with freight carriers
• Verify incoming deliveries, inspect for damage, and follow SEAKR procedures
• Handle materials, customer-owned property, and company capital assets
• Coordinate with Receiving Inspection, Buyers, and Accounting to resolve discrepancies
• Maintain relationships with freight carriers and provide weekly activity reports
• Support quality engineering and program management on shipments

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–2 years’ experience in shipping/receiving or a related field
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and prioritize tasks
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Comfortable with database software and multitasking under deadlines
• Able to move, lift, and handle materials (up to 80 lbs occasionally)

Compensation: Base pay range is $22-$26/hour, depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA. We have a 9/80 work schedule with alternating Fridays off.
