Shipping & Receiving Clerk

  The Defense Systems Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to work in our Ridgecrest California office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping with the AEWTTR mission. In this mission we  provide engineering support for design, modification, and maintenance of ground radar and associated devices for the Navy’s Aircrew Electronic Warfare (EW) training capability. Our organization designs, manufactures, integrates, and provides depot level support for a wide variety of EW threat simulation systems that are part of the training infrastructure that ensures our Navy Aircrews are the most effective. 

The AEWTTR Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for supply chain functions, such as oversight of shipping and receiving of all goods and materials. Duties may include using a computer system for tracking, logging, verifying, and reporting as well as receiving incoming materials or preparing materials for shipment.

• Kitting components for manufacturing production
• Material Handling
• Inventory Management, organize and maintain inventory in compliance
• Data Entry & Order Processing
• Receive, verify, inspect incoming parts/materials, and shipments against records and packing lists
• Shipping Management, Order Fulfillment & Goods Receipts
• Supports packaging, labeling, and documentation for outbound shipments and returns within Warehouse Operations

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent; and 1-3 years of prior relevant experience.
• Must be familiar with Warehouse Operations
• 1+ year of prior experience in Shipping, receiving and inventory management. 
• Ability and willingness to obtain a DoD Secret clearance in the future if needed. (U.S. Citizenship is required)
• Ability and willingness to work onsite in Ridgecrest Ca.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with outlook, teams, and excel, but not required.
