Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Ventura Manufacturing is seeking a full-time Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you'll help ensure materials move safely and efficiently between our suppliers, warehouse, and production teams. You'll be responsible for receiving inbound shipments, preparing outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and keeping production supplied with the materials needed to serve our customers.

Schedule

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Overtime may be available as business needs require.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility
• Receive, inspect, verify, and organize incoming shipments
• Load outbound shipments accurately and on schedule
• Complete receiving and shipping transactions using scanners and warehouse technology
• Maintain accurate inventory and material locations
• Keep production supplied with the materials needed to run efficiently
• Communicate professionally with truck drivers, suppliers, and teammates
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and dock area
• Assist with production activities when business needs require additional support
• Contribute to a positive team environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement

• Previous shipping & receiving, warehouse, logistics, material handling, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systems and scanning technology
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift
• Willingness to occasionally support production activities when needed
