Shipping and Receiving Clerk

The general function of the Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be to coordinate shipments and be primary receiving clerk, including fork truck and truck driving.

1. Valid Driver’s license with excellent driving record.
2. Possess ability to maintain flexible schedule to meet the demands of the department, i.e. overtime.
3. Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
4. Ability to listen to what is said and act upon it appropriately.
5. Ability to use tact and empathy in dealing with people of varied backgrounds.
6. Ability to establish effective working relationships.
7. Ability to work independently or in a team environment and plan and organize workload.
8. Some computer skills.
9. Accepts responsibility and demonstrates leadership.
10. Is able to multitask effectively in a fast paced environment.
11. Trustworthy-Able to keep business confidences as required.
12. Open minded-Willing to embrace change.

Education and/or Experience:

Experience in material handling, math and documentation skills required.
