Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Full time, Monday - Friday, 1st shift hours (7a - 3p or 8a - 4p)

$16 - $18 per hour, based on qualifications & experience

Reports to: Shipping Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for receiving raw goods and shipping finished goods. Will need to be able to read and write packing slips, bill of ladings, and international documentation.
• Confirm receipt of materials and issue to appropriate machine
• Start data collection
• Read entire ticket including all job notes
• Compare finish goods to proofs/previous sample for quality
• Gather needed materials for job including but not limited to boxes, tape, labels
• Complete job in an efficient time (packing, counting, re-piling)
• End Data Collection

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, reading, writing, and comprehension in English
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Able to lift up to 50 ibs
• Ability to have full use of two hands, visual depth & color perception and walk throughout the warehouse
• Ability to recognize informalities in print

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of freight classifications
• Understanding of UPS, Fedex, Excel, and Outlook
• Forklift Certified
