Our teams work collaboratively to ensure manufacturing excellence, production readiness, and continuous improvement across programs.\n\nWe are looking for you to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator 3 to support production and manufacturing operations at our Central Virginia manufacturing facilities.\n\nWhat You\u2019ll Get To Do:\n\n * Receive incoming materials and prepare materials for shipment.\n\n * (Un)pack or (un)wrap items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc. \n\n * Verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications.\n\n * Log receipt of items in system and process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents.\n\n * Report materials shipped and bills of lading and post weight and shipping charges.\n\n * Route merchandise to destinations.\n\n * Use computer system for tracking, logging, verifying, and reporting.\n\n * Follow shipping practices and procedures and transportation routing, schedules, and requirements.\n\n\n\n\nThis position is contingent upon proposal/task award.\n\nBasic Qualifications for the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator 3:\n\n * High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience in a manufacturing/production, warehouse/stockroom, or shipping/receiving environment.\n\n * Experience using computer systems for shipping and receiving\n\n * Ability to lift up to 35 pounds \n\n * Must be able to drive a Northrop Grumman company vehicle to other Northrop Grumman sites within a 200-mile radius\n\n * Must obtain fork truck certification after hire\n\n * Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance\n\n * US citizenship is required.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Active Secret clearance\n\n * 1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving\n\n * 1+ years of experience in inventory, stocking and managing shipments\n\n * Experience with material handling techniques\n\n\n\n\nWhat We Can Offer You:\n\nNorthrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
