Shipping & Receiving - Forklift Operator - $19-$20/hr

Parallel Employment Group, in partnership with a Lancaster manufacturing company, is seeking a Scale House Operator for their Shipping & Receiving department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the loading and unloading of products while ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes.

Wage: $19-$20 per hour; based on experience

Shift: 1st shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Comfortable on computer
• Scale Operator - weigh and document materials on a scale
• Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments by comparing them to shipping documents.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory levels.
• Organize products and materials in the warehouse and ensure proper storage.
• Forklift Experience is a plus but not required
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and warehouse policies.
• Assist with inventory management and regular stock checks.
• Keep the work area clean and free of hazards.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a forklift operator in a shipping and receiving environment is a plus.
• Solid computer skills required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) consistently.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
