At Blend Supply, the Shipping & Receiving Specialist is where precision meets pride. You’re the person who makes sure aerospace and industrial customers get exactly what they ordered, exactly when they need it, with paperwork and quality that hold up to the highest standards in the business. This isn’t “box in, box out.” You’ll own the flow of product through the warehouse for our contract accounts, cross-train across the operation, and have a direct hand in building processes that make the whole team better.
We’re a family-owned company that takes AS9100 aerospace quality seriously and takes care of the people who deliver it. In fact, our employees have voted Blend a Great Place to Work three years running. If you take ownership of your work, like variety in your day, and want to grow your skills, you’ll fit here.
We work with the best tools—including AI
Blend is fully on board with modern technology, and that includes AI. We actively use AI applications like Claude to help our team work smarter—handling the busywork so our people can focus on customers, thinking, and the judgment calls that matter. If you're curious about new tools and excited to work somewhere that gives you a real edge instead of holding you back, you'll fit right in.
You’ll pick, pack, and ship customer orders using our TMS, P21, and related systems, and receive incoming shipments into the ERP for your assigned warehouse. You’ll keep stock accurate through cycle counting and keep the warehouse neat, organized, and running smoothly.
Beyond the day-to-day, you’ll have real ownership:
Everything you do is done with the client in mind. We aim for a world-class customer experience, and this role is a big part of delivering it.
You’ll know, uphold, and help lead Blend’s AS9100 compliance—understanding the why behind our processes and behaviors, using the customer complaint log, logging non-conformances, spotting where corrective action is needed, and helping us continuously improve. This is a role where doing it right actually counts.
We’re looking for someone dependable, organized, and genuinely good with people—able to communicate clearly, solve problems calmly (even under pressure), and keep both the team and the customer moving forward. You should be comfortable with numbers and analysis, safety-minded, and able to see and match color accurately, including matching coating samples.
The competencies that make people successful here:
Computer skills: Comfortable with internet software, Excel, an inventory/order processing system (Prophet 21), Word, email, presentation software, and Microsoft 365.
We want to be upfront about what the work involves so it’s the right fit for you.
While performing this job, you’ll regularly use your hands to handle and feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. You’ll frequently sit, and occasionally stand, walk, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Vision requirements include color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
You’ll regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Work environment: Expect intermittent periods of continuous physical activity—walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward. You’ll occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level is usually moderate.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role.
If you’re looking for a warehouse role where accuracy is respected, cross-training is encouraged, and your ideas actually go somewhere, we’d like to hear from you. Come help Blend deliver world-class service to the aerospace and industrial customers who count on us.
