Shift: 7 am - 3:30 pm M-F with potential for over time hours

Summary

The Shipping Assistant is responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, including Wavelynx products/parts.

Duties

• Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders


• Inspect and document any damages or discrepancies in shipments


• Unload and load trucks using a pallet jack or other equipment


• Sort and organize received items in designated storage areas


• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items


• Ensure accuracy of order fulfillment and proper packaging for shipment


• Maintain inventory records and update stock levels in the system


• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies


• Collaborate with other team members to optimize warehouse operations

Skills

• Experience operating pallet jacks


• Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking, packing, and labeling
  


• Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes


• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems


• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required


• Strong organizational skills to maintain a well-organized warehouse


• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.


• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
