Shipping Specialist
Day Shift
Monday-Friday
Occasional overtime as needed

Martin Door is seeking a skilled Shipping Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for loading trailers with doors and parts
Ensure all loaded product is accurately scanned and perform audits of trucks once the paperwork is completed
Prepare and place packing slips onto the appropriate delivery truck
Order picking, checking, and packing of orders
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple orders in a day
Assist team members and fill in gaps as needed
Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets
Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas including equipment, tools, and work surfaces
Ensure PPE is always used, product is loaded on trucks in compliance with policy and to allow for safe offloading by customers and maintain a safe work environment
Ability to safely operate a forklift

Required Qualifications:

One year of incoming inventory/materials experience in a manufacturing setting
Forklift certification is required and able to demonstrate written and practical knowledge for onsite certification, is required
Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
Ability to self-manage and multi-task
Ability to work in, and promote, a team environment
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and written, to ensure a clear understanding of work instructions and safety protocols.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities
