Shipping Associate

Position Summary

The Shipping Associate is responsible for all aspects of preparing customer orders for timely shipment.

• Preparing and maintaining appropriate shipping documentation and records
• Track and pack customer orders in proper sequence for shipment
• Verify part numbers, quantities, revisions, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
• Utilize small cart or other hand operated equipment to move parts and product between work areas
• Receive finished goods from production and stage orders for shipment.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities as needed.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shipping area.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Planning, and Customer Service to meet delivery schedules.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and shipping procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and experience with shipping software or ERP systems.
• Ability to read work orders, packing instructions, and shipping documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
