Shipping Associate

Our client, a prominent North American brand of exterior and interior building products is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Associate, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting Logistics Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping/receiving, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Associate

Location: Lackawanna, NY

Pay Range: $18/hour

What’s the Job?

• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage and shipment
  
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
  
• Transport raw materials to production workstations
  
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
  
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
  
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
  

What’s Needed?

• Shipping/receiving experience
  
• Ability to maneuver computer programs
  
• Strong work ethic and desire to provide value to a growing company
  
• Good manual dexterity and an ability to package products and prepare for shipment
  
• Strong attention to detail and quality control experience
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
