Shipping Clerk

Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

· Packer/Shipper pack orders and prepare them to be shipped.

· Inspection of items to ensure there is no damage or missing parts.

· Packing goods according to specifications and transporting them shipping dock area.

· Utilize Malvern shipping system. 

· Track all orders to ensure inventory is accurately recorded.

· Maintain general cleanliness in the warehouse.

· Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities 

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Must be able to stand for the majority of your shift, be comfortable walking long distances throughout the warehouse, able to lift up to 50 lbs. at times and 30 lbs. consistently, and be willing to operate dollies, pallet jacks, or other moving equipment.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· High School Diploma or GED

· Detail-oriented

· Problem solver who can thank quantitatively and notice defects and errors quickly

· Strong communication skills and can work as a team member with a wide variety of people in the supply chain

· Basic mathematical ability

· Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills

· Proficient in basic computer applications

· Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (30 to 50 pounds in weight)
