Shipping Clerk

Description

 The Shipping Clerk performs a variety of clerical duties associated with shipping and receiving.

• Shift Times: 7:00AM - 3:30PM, M-F
• Pay Schedule: Weekly

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Demonstrates the Core Values of Comfort Research in daily actions, execution of tasks and interactions with others.
• Receive and process orders, type daily dock schedule.  
• Responsible for scheduling pickups and coordinating dock traffic.  
• Responsible for responding to e-mails from vendors, carriers, and other CR employees.  
• Assisting on the shipping dock when time permits.  
• Good communications with plant manager and warehouse supervisor as to daily and weekly production needs. 
• Responsible for routing orders in various customer portals. 
• Navigate ASC warehouse management system portal. 
• HAVE FUN!
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

•  2+ years of manufacturing experience is required. 
• Shipping office experience preferred  High school diploma or GED required.  
• Experience in ASC warehouse management software is encouraged. 
• Demonstrated success in Operational Excellence.  
• Ability to manage self and prioritize projects.  
• Passion for accountability and goal achievement.  
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English. Bilingual is a plus. 
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.  
• Must be reliable, punctual, extremely organized and pay close attention to detail.  
• Must be able to communicate well with truck drivers, dispatchers and all other employees
