Job Summary:

The Shipping/Outbound Clerk plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate outbound shipments from DILE Solutions' warehouse. This individual is responsible for processing customer orders, preparing shipping documentation, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining shipping records in compliance with company procedures and quality standards.

 Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and verify outbound shipments using WMS and ERP systems.
• Pick, pack, and label customer orders according to order specifications and shipping methods.
• Create and review shipping documents (BOLs, packing slips, invoices, shipping labels)
• Schedule pickups and coordinate with transportation carriers and 3PL providers
• Ensure all outbound shipments meet service-level timelines and quality standards.
• Monitor daily shipping queues to prioritize urgent orders or backlogs.
• Assist in loading parcels and LTL shipments when needed.
• Perform end-of-day reconciliation of shipping records and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate with internal departments (customer service, inventory control) to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the outbound dock area.
• Follow all safety protocols and warehouse operating  procedures.
• Support cycle counts and outbound audits as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required; additional logistics or supply chain      training preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics operations.
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic Microsoft Office      (Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of common shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS, LTL, freight) and documentation.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified. 
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or fulfillment environment. 
• Familiarity with EDI, scanning devices, or ERP systems like SAP or NetSuite 

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods, and operate pallet jacks or forklifts.
