Job Description - Shipping Clerk

AGC Multi Material America, Inc. (AMMA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of AGC Inc., a $14 billion multinational corporation and one of the world’s largest manufacturers of glass, electronics, chemicals, and ceramic products.

AMMA is a globally advanced materials company which develops and manufactures super high-end CCL (Copper Clad Laminate) for the next-generation high-speed communication business field. AMMA provides high value-added products of dielectric substrates for high frequency electronics such as 5G, Automotive Radar, High Speed Telecom, and Aerospace & Avionics Radar/Communication industries.

Employment with AGC Multi Material America is conditional on a satisfactory background and drug screen.

Position Summary:
The Shipping Clerk is a member of the shipping/receiving department and ensures that all products are packaged and labeled to company specifications and standards.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for manual packaging and wrapping a variety of materials including LFG, RFP, and B-Sales orders
Label cartons for shipment
Perform quality verification to ensure proper resin stickers and address labels have been affied to the product and shipping boxes
Maintain records of items packed
Stack and load packages on loading dock
Placed finished good in proper inventory
Restock all supplies

Physical/Environmental Requirements

May be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
Ability to stand, walk, sit and use of hands to handle, feel, or grasp objects, tools, or controls.
Reach and lift with hands and arms; lift/move/carry objects up to 25 lbs. in weight.
Climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch.
Ability to talk and hear for safety on the production floor.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
Ability to operate a shrink wrap machine
Ability to read a Work in Progress (WIP) report
Ability to perform transactions in Oracle for material processing
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively in the English language
Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and fumes
Steel-toed shoes are required for this position
