Shipping Clerk - Hiring Urgently

Description:

A manufacturing company in Plano needs 2 shipping positions filled ASAP:

Shipping Auditor

Conduct thorough inspections of crates and packages to ensure quality and accuracy.

- Verify the contents of each crate against the provided documentation or inventory system.

- Identify any damaged or faulty crates and report them to the appropriate department.

- Maintain detailed records of audits and communicate any discrepancies or issues to management.

- Collaborate with other team members to improve auditing processes and efficiency.

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.

Shipping, Receiving Assistant

Assist in preparing and packaging items for shipment, ensuring they are properly labeled and documented.

- Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule pickups and deliveries.

- Maintain accurate shipping records and update inventory systems accordingly.

- Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality, resolving any discrepancies or issues.

- Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize shipping processes and meet deadlines.

- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure and efficient shipping environment.

1st shift 7am-3:30 plus overtime- maybe stay until 5pm, some Saturdays

Prefer SAP experience or any other MRP.

Temp to hire, overtime needed, some Saturdays required.
