Responsibilities:
- Communicate with Project Engineer/Customer to determine requirements/responsibilities for documentation preparation and deliver of equipment order.
- Obtain transportation cost/delivery quotations.
- Coordinate with Customers/Transportation Companies/ Manufacturing for Transportation of equipment.
- Prepare labels, packing lists, shipping tags, commercial invoices, certificates of Origin, NAFTA certificates and bill of lading for shipments.
- Maintain sales order log.
- Maintain shipping log.
- Track and trouble-shoot shipment deliveries and problems.
- Ship drawings/documents for Engineering.
- Prepare proforma packing lists
- Maintain photo file for orders.
- Prepare Contract job’s shipping list.
- Knowledge and use of proper INCO terms when shipping
- Continued education on international standards, customs regulations, crating requirements and all shipping documentation.
- Maintain a shipping and crating schedule for capacity planning and on time delivery.
- Maintain the wood audit for crating
- Coordinate outside crating
- Coordinate return shipments for maintenance and warranty
- Assist with purchasing and global logistics
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and/or two years Administrative Experience in a manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years experience in shipping both domestic and internationally.
- Must have experience and knowledge of international standards, INCO terms and documentation requirements.
- Good interpersonal skills and experience dealing with the public or corporate customers.
- Demonstrates courteous and professional attitude.
- Experience in Microsoft Suite with extensive ability to email and schedule meetings in Outlook.
- Must be able to go up and down stairs.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Must be able tp operate a Computer, telephone and other office equipment.
- Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in company duties.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
