We are seeking an experienced Shipping Coordinator to join our team.

Job Overview:

As a shipping coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shipping process, ensuring that products are delivered to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the shipping of products from our facility to customers, both domestically and internationally.
Communicate with carriers and freight forwarders to arrange transportation and obtain necessary documentation.
Prepare shipping labels, packing lists, bills of lading, and other required shipping documents.
Track shipments and provide customers with updates on delivery status.
Resolve any issues or delays in shipping, working closely with carriers to find solutions.
Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities and documentation.
Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and production, to ensure inventory and product availability for timely shipping.
Implement and adhere to shipping and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
Other duties as assigned.
You'll Be A Great Fit If You Have:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a shipping coordinator or similar role in the plastics industry.
Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements.
Proficient in using shipping software and systems, such as SAP or equivalent.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with carriers, customers, and internal teams.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations or shipping delays with professionalism.

Competitive Salary ($17.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience)
