DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Oversee the daily operations of the shipping department, including loading/unloading, receiving, handling, inventory control, tracking and reporting.
• Train and mentor new employees
• Receive, inspect, inventory, document, and store shipments.
• Oversee ERP system for storage and tracking of goods and shipments.
• Communicate with suppliers, receivers, and staff for smooth shipment.
• Stage loading and unloading areas with appropriate equipment, materials, and space.
• Inspecting products to ensure that they meet quality standards.
• Work with other departments to ensure that shipments are processed and shipped in a timely and efficient manner.
• Organize, plan, and execute daily production schedule for the shipping team.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with shipping and receiving.
• Experience in customer service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills and ERP experience is a plus.
• Experience managing and leading a small team.
• Ability to manage small projects personally and work independently. 
• Strong attention to detail. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
