Overview:
Reporting to the Manchester Supply Chain Manager, the Shipping Lead is a central coordination role supporting all outbound shipping activity at the Manchester plant. This position is based primarily in an office environment and works closely with the Supply Chain Manager to prepare shipping documentation, coordinate daily shipment schedules, and serve as the main point of contact for the shipping dock and incoming/outgoing mail. This role plays a key part in keeping daily shipping operations organized, accurate, and on schedule.
This role is a coordination and administrative position and does not include direct supervisory responsibility.
Schedule & Work Structure:
This is an hourly position based on a standard weekday schedule of approximately 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM. Occasional overtime, including Saturdays, may be required based on shipping volume and business needs.
This role follows a daily operational schedule tied to plant shipping activity and requires consistent on-site presence.
