Shipping Manager 

Hourly Wage Range: $24 - $28, Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Successful candidates typically begin up to the midpoint of the salary range.

Join ADDIUM Inc. as a Shipping Manager and lead a dynamic team of shipping clerks in optimizing our shipping operations. With supervisory experience, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the packaging of all orders on the line, maintaining the stock and safety of shipping supplies, and ensuring accurate inventory counts of consumables.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor a small team of shipping clerks, providing guidance in daily tasks and fostering a collaborative work environment.


• Analyze data to prioritize shipments effectively, managing the workflow for late, current, and future orders.


• Utilize a comprehensive understanding of Netsuite, Order List, and Build Tool to streamline shipping processes.


• Demonstrate a high level of detail in processing various types of shipments and promptly resolving shipping issues.


• Provide expert-level attention to detail in managing shipping quotes for international and domestic orders.


• Lead the processing of shipments, resolving customs issues, and generating proper customs documents.


• Allocate finished goods for orders and analyze data to prioritize shipments efficiently.


• Manage the overall flow of finished goods within the logistics system.

Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in Netsuite, Order List, and Build Tool; or an ERP equivalent


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and resolve shipping issues promptly.


• Excellent attention to detail, especially in handling various types of shipments and managing inventory counts.


• Experience in providing shipping quotes for both international and domestic orders.


• Proficient in resolving customs issues and creating necessary customs documents.


• Ability to analyze data and prioritize shipments for optimal efficiency.


• Complete a background check

Preferred: 

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in shipping or logistics, and/or in a Manufacturing-related role.
