Shipping Manager/Clerk

 We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Manager/Clerk to handle all outbound shipping activities. This includes preparing and sending parts to customers as well as subcontractors (such as heat treat or plating vendors). Note: this role is strictly shipping—receiving is handled separately.Key Responsibilities:

• Pack and prepare parts for domestic and international shipment  
• Coordinate pickups with carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, LTL, freight forwarders, etc.)  
• Generate all necessary shipping documents, including commercial invoices and customs forms  
• Track outgoing shipments and ensure on-time delivery  
• Maintain shipping records and documentation  
• Communicate with internal teams and subcontractors about delivery timelines and special instructions  
• Keep shipping area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies

 Requirements:

• Prior experience with international shipping is required 
• Familiarity with commercial invoicing, HTS codes, and basic export requirements  
• Experience using shipping software and generating labels/documentation  
• Ability to lift and move packages safely (with assistance/equipment when needed)  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills  
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is a plus
