Job Description

Flint Group is actively seeking individuals with strong work ethic and positive attitudes to join our Shipping and Receiving Team. We are seeking confident individuals who can step into this safety-first environment and quickly learn to execute a multitude of tasks to get the job done, safely and on-time.

Reporting to the Shipping and Receiving Manager, you will be required to perform all tasks related to working in this ink manufacturing facility. Tasks will include shipping and receiving of raw materials and finished inks, as well as helping to maintain an accurate inventory and contributing to a successful team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Unloading/Loading materials using forklift/pallet jacks from the carrier companies' trailers.


• Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices.


• Inspect and sort all items received, ensuring they are in good condition.


• Place received items in designated storage areas


• Print standard receiving labels as needed


• Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling items.


• Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.


• Completes and files all applicable shipping related documents and records.


• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.


• Performs additional tasks and responsibilities at the direction of their supervisor

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for 90% of the day.


• Capable of executing strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work (lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 pounds).


• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
  
  

Skills

• Basic math/mechanical aptitude.


• Forklift Experience, sitdown and stand up (Preferred)


• Basic Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / Powerpoint) aptitude.


• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.


• Ability to prioritize and organize work load effectively.


• SAP Business processing system experience (Preferred)
