About the Position:
Shipping & Receiving Agents at our company ensure accurate and timely processing of shipping orders, coordinate shipments with carriers through software, manage shipping supplies inventory, and provide excellent support for the production team.

Responsibilities:

• Order Processing: Receive and process incoming orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in order fulfillment.
• Packaging: Prepare items for shipment by carefully packaging and labeling them according to shipping guidelines and customer requirements.
• Shipping Coordination: Coordinate with shipping carriers and logistics companies to schedule pickups, track shipments, and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of shipping supplies, such as boxes, tape, and packing materials, to ensure adequate stock for shipping needs.
• Documentation: Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation for each shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping regulations.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with customer specifications.
• Internal Customer Service: Provide excellent internal customer service to team members, addressing inquiries, resolving shipping-related issues, and communicating shipment status to Sales Reps as needed.

Measurables:

• Order Accuracy: Measure the percentage of orders processed accurately and shipped on time.
• Shipping Efficiency: Track the time it takes to process orders and prepare shipments, aiming for continuous improvement in shipping efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Computer Skills are a must, including spreadsheets, data handling, and various shipping softwares.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Familiarity with shipping software and systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift and move packages of various sizes and weights.
