Shipping, Receiving, & Material Handling Level I

Miller Edge, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping, Receiving, and Material Handler to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless movement, storage, and distribution of materials, supplies, and products within our facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate shipping and receiving processes, optimizing inventory management, and supporting warehouse and production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Maintain precise records by documenting received items in inventory management systems.
• Prepare, package, and coordinate outgoing shipments in accordance with company and customer specifications.
• Generate shipping labels and other essential shipping documents to ensure smooth deliveries.
• Efficiently load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment.
• Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations for easy accessibility.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and proper handling procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
• Assist in material movement to production lines to support seamless manufacturing operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or material handling.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced warehouse or production facility setting.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Exposure to varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.
