Shipping Specialist

Central Package and Display is searching for an experienced Shipping Supervisor to manage shipping office, the filling of orders, and the routing trucks for timely delivery of product.  The Shipping Supervisor also works alongside the Warehouse and Shipping Manager, Receiving Clerk, Shipping Assistant, and Shipping Coordinator to assure work quality and accuracy of all work performed. The compensation range for this role is $36/hr-$41/hr.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily shipping, receiving, and distribution activities
• Manage and coordinate shipping schedules for the production lines
• Ensure the accuracy of shipments, documentation, and labelling
• Coordinate with production leadership and customer service teams to meet deadlines
• Optimize freight costs and select appropriate carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL, courier, etc.)
• Prepare and review shipping documents, bills of lading, and related paperwork
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and carrier performance
• Reviews carrier documentation, shipment updates, and delivery confirmations.
• Develop and improve shipping processes for efficiency and quality
• Ensure compliance with company standards and safety procedures
• Back up Duties:  Perform backup duties for the Warehouse Manager and other shipping office personnel in their absence as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse and Shipping Manager and company leadership

• 4+ years of shipping/logistics experience (printing or manufacturing preferred)
• Strong knowledge of shipping systems and freight carriers.
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to work full-time onsite.
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs and maintain a forklift license.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
