This role currently follows a Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day schedule. 

What we are looking for:

• Minimum: High School Diploma/GED.


• Forklift experience 


• Manufacturing facility experience preferred


• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role – including lifting 50 lbs, standing for long periods of time, and completing repetitive tasks


• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment


• Ability to problem solve and identify safety hazards

Position Responsibilities:

• Verifies quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of products and items of merchandise ready for shipment


• Counts, weighs, measures, or examines packaging and contents of items for conformance to company specifications


• Compares items packed with customer's order and other identifying data


• Loads, unloads, and moves materials within on work site


• Loads materials onto vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit


• Loads and unloads board or other materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves


• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily tracking sheet


• Cleans work area, machines, and equipment


• Operates forklift in loading trucks or moving materials and products


• All other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing stairs and ladders, and navigating around equipment and machinery.


• Ability to bend, stoop, and crouch as necessary to inspect and maintain equipment.


• Capability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.


• Ability to perform physical tasks that involve lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects.


• Endurance to stand and walk for extended periods, often in environments with dust, chemicals, high noise levels and varying temperatures
