Job Description

• Review contracts to determine shipping, packaging, and reporting requirements.
• Package, ship, and track outgoing orders using carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS, freight ,etc.)
• Ship both Domestic and Internationally ensuring Customs paperwork is properly filled out.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, supplies, and equipment against purchase orders.
• Deliver received materials to the appropriate staff or departments.
• Prepare and complete all shipping/receiving documentation.
• Support cross-training with Production, Inventory, and Quality teams to ensure operational coverage.
• Update/Maintain the Shipping/Receiving Procedures Workbook
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or trade certification preferred).
• 3+ years of shipping/receiving, experience
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds and perform warehouse tasks (standing, bending, carrying).
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and Word; experience with online shipping/purchasing systems.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident) due to export-controlled materials.

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with ITAR and FAR compliance.
• Exposure to ASTM D-3951 (Commercial Packaging) and MIL-STD-129 (Military Marking for Shipment and Storage).
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills; able to follow and maintain written procedures.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
