*Must have reliable transportation*

Pay Rate: $17-21/hour (based on experience)

**Sign-On Bonus $1200**

After the completion of one year of service.

Job Summary for Shipping/ Receiving Laborer:

Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material, receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Shipping/ Receiving Laborer:

• Pack, seal, and label prepared materials for shipping, using PB crimp tools and stretch wrap banders.
• Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
• Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages.

Non-essential Duties for Shipping/ Receiving Laborer:

• Maintains adequate supply of shipping materials.
• Supports the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods.
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Support other departments as needed based on supervisor’s discretion.
• (May) Drive a forklift truck to transport material for storage or delivery to another department.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Shipping/ Receiving Laborer:

• Reads and writes English.
• Able to follow directions precisely.
• Able to position and manipulate parts with the hands demonstrating manual dexterity.

Experience and Education for Shipping/ Receiving Laborer:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 – 2 years manufacturing or warehouse experience
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
