Shipping/Receiving Manager-Virtual Center-Jacksonville Fulfillment

Position Overview

This position works closely with the Fulfillment Center Manager and operations team to ensure receiving, pricing, and stocking of merchandise meet the needs of the Virtual Center customers and drive sales and profits. In partnership with Virtual Center Senior Management, they will be instrumental in preparing for the annual inventory. Will engage with volume complexity due to a number of publishers, titles, and term starts. Assist Team Members with completing the work within the Virtual Center when required. Collaborate with Team Lead Shipping/Receiving to ensure all team members receive the appropriate training and education, including ongoing compliance training. Communicate expectations to motivate team members and assess performance. Acts as leader on duty, responding to customer and team member concerns in absence of Virtual Center Senior Management. As well as opening and closing the Virtual Center and ensuring all property and team members are safe and secure.

• Associate's Degree or equivalent
• Certified or trained to operate mechanized material handling equipment
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
• Previous experience in fulfillment center/workshop (preferred)
• Basic Computer Skills
• Detail orientated
• Self-Motivated
