This individual is a hands-on support role, keeping equipment, parts, and materials moving efficiently throughout the branch. This position works diligently, supporting the Parts Department, Service, and Sales by receiving and shipping equipment or parts, maintaining yard / warehouse organization, assisting with procurement / deliveries, and ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control. This role requires high levels of flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to shift priorities throughout the day.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive, ship, and document equipment, attachments, and parts entering or leaving the facility
Verify serial numbers, complete required documentation, and capture photos of equipment and attachments (EMM’s)
Organize and display equipment in the yard efficiently and attractively
Inspect incoming equipment and parts for damage, report findings as required
Safely load, unload, and move heavy equipment, attachments, and parts
Organize and maintain the yard, warehouse, and shipping/receiving areas in a clean, safe, and efficient manner
Stage, stock, and organizing parts for each department as needed
Assist in responding to procurement, shipping, delivery, and receiving of inventory
Prepare parts for shipment and coordinate pickups & transfers between branches
Accurately enter parts / equipment transactions into the appropriate inventory system
Acquire parts / materials from local vendors as needed using company vehicles
Build knowledge of existing product lines, service standards and procedures.
Operate forklifts and other equipment to load / unload trucks, or manage materials
Maintain company vehicles, tools, and work areas in proper working conditions
Communicate task statuses, priorities, and needs with management & team members
Assist Parts, Service, and Sales teams as priorities change throughout the day
Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and documentation requirements
Perform additional duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Experience with heavy equipment, warehouse operations, or parts handling preferred (or willingness to learn)
Must be willing to ask questions when necessary
Mechanical aptitude and general (parts) knowledge preferred
Forklift experience preferred
Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
Ability to handle high levels of confidentiality

NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB:
Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 100+ pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50+ pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 20+ pounds.
Occasional to frequent walking or standing.

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate equipment.
Consistently exposed to weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
