Job Description - Shop Appliance Tech

We are a fast-growing company seeking an Appliance Technician to join our team and repair appliances in our shop. The ideal candidate should have a passion for fixing things and transforming non-functional products into working ones. This role involves tasks such as brazing compressors into appliances (training provided) and other repair duties on dryers, washers, refrigerators, and stoves. We are looking for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and an eagerness to adapt to new technology and develop expertise in a new trade.

Requirements:

Drug free(drug tested)

Must have valid DL

This Job Is:

A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities:

Accurately diagnose and repair appliances/equipment in the shop

Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License with a clean record

Must be at least 18 years of age

Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology

The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
