Part-Time Shop Cleaner – Nimey's New Generation Cars (Utica, NY)

Keep Our Shop in Top Shape.

We’re looking for a dependable, detail-focused Shop Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in our service department. This behind-the-scenes role is key to supporting our technicians and ensuring a professional workspace.

Schedule & Hours:

• Part-Time: Monday–Friday
• 4 hours per day (Start between 4:00PM and 6:00PM)
• Approximately 20 hours/week
• 30 hours/week during initial 2-week training period

What You’ll Do:
You’ll be responsible for keeping the shop floors clean, removing trash and recycling, tidying work areas, maintaining equipment, and performing light maintenance and safety checks on a regular schedule. You’ll use tools like floor sweepers and degreasers, and we’ll provide all training and safety gear.

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior janitorial, custodial, or shop experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and self-motivated
• Comfortable working around vehicles and shop equipment
