Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Fabricate and assemble fire protection system components, including pipe, brackets, and system assemblies.
· Cut, thread, groove, and prepare piping for fire sprinkler systems.
· Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
· Prepare materials for delivery to job sites and ensure accuracy of fabricated items.
· Maintain shop equipment, tools, and machinery in proper working condition.
· Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and company specifications.
· Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
· Track material usage and notify management of shortages or discrepancies.
· Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

· Other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 1+ years of fabrication, mechanical, or construction experience preferred.
· Experience with pipe fabrication, threading, and grooving equipment preferred.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
· Basic math and measurement skills.
· Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
· Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
· Preferred: Experience in fire protection or life safety systems and familiarity with NFPA standards.

Other Duties:

· Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50+ lbs regularly.
· Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
· Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
· Use of hands and arms for handling tools, materials, and operating fabrication equipment.
