Shop Foreman

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatch and assign repair orders (ROs) to technicians based on their specific abilities and expertise
• Ensure technicians have all necessary parts for repairs and maintenance
• Collaborate with lot porters to guarantee timely movement of units into the shop
• Monitor and flag technician times, adding required parts to repair orders
• Provide ongoing support to technicians, addressing any needs or concerns
• Prepare and write up detailed estimates for service work
• Engage in customer relations, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction
• Participate in field work, leading a small crew for full set-ups of sold units
• Assist with pickup and drop-off of service customer units as needed
• Work directly with the Service Manager and Service Advisor to maintain efficient operations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Advanced diagnostic and repair knowledge
• Proven ability to coordinate complex service operations
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
• Proficiency in automotive service management software
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
