Shop Help - Opportunity to Make a Difference

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Performs shop activities such as disassembly of compressors, materials handling, shipping and receiving, as well as scrapping of components .
• Completes required documentation of work activities.
• Advises Team Leaders/Production Manager of potential process improvements that may drive efficiency and/or promote safety in the shop.
• Assists Team Leads/Manager in other shop floor activities as requested.
• Sets up and verifies the functionality of safety equipment and PPE according to safety policies.
• Housekeeping - Cleans production equipment and work areas, including hand tools.
• Assists Team Leads/Manager in other shop floor activities as requested.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in manufacturing/warehousing environment, shipping and receiving a plus.
• Lifting requirements of up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in the operation of fork lift and overhead crane is a plus. Training and certification will be provided onsite
• Good attendance is required for this role. Must possess ability to work well in a team environment.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.50 per hour
