Pay Rate: $15.00/hour
Shift/Hours: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday, 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Broken Arrow, OK 74014

Position Overview

We are hiring a dedicated Shop Helper to assist with daily shop operations in Broken Arrow. This position involves supporting welders, fabricators, and machinists, while helping to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate Tools: Use hand and power tools, including grinders, to prepare and finish metal components.
• Measure Materials: Accurately measure materials using a tape measure for precise cuts and assembly.
• Equipment Operation: Operate overhead cranes safely to move heavy materials and equipment.
• Shop Support: Assist welders, fabricators, and machinists with daily tasks.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
• Maintenance & Loading: Perform basic maintenance on tools, and load/unload materials and products.

Skills & Experience Requirements

• Experience with grinders, tape measures, and overhead cranes is required.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or shop drawings is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
