Position Overview

An Owasso-based company is seeking a motivated and dependable Shop Helper to join its Parts Department. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Shop Helper plays a key role in supporting operators and ensuring that all parts are organized and readily available to keep production running smoothly.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Parts Handling & Organization

• Sort, separate, and organize incoming and outgoing parts.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the parts storage area to help the Shop Helper maintain efficiency in daily operations.

Operator Support

• Assist machine operators with daily part needs and inventory requests.
• Deliver parts to workstations as needed to support production flow.

Inventory Coordination

• Track part usage and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Help with restocking and labeling parts for easy identification.

Team Collaboration

• Communicate effectively with operators and supervisors.
• Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations and provide additional help where the Shop Helper is needed most.

Qualifications

• Must have warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move parts and materials safely.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
