Job Title: Shop Helper
Location: Sapulpa, OK
Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $17/hour
Job Type: Temp to Hire

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated Shop Helper to support daily operations in a fabrication environment. This Safety-Sensitive role involves working around overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, power tools, and automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with and around hazardous machinery and equipment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Assist craftsmen with their assigned tasks and trades.
• Maintain productivity levels in alignment with company standards and work instructions.
• Ensure workmanship consistently meets quality standards.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Support and maintain 5S workplace organization standards.
• Exhibit professionalism and teamwork to help complete projects efficiently and safely.

Required Skills & Experience

• Basic experience in a fabrication shop.
• Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and power tools.
• Proficiency in reading and writing basic shop communications.
• Skilled in using a shop tape measure.
• Willingness and ability to learn to read shop drawings and interpret bill of materials.
• Strong desire and ability to learn new skills.
