OVERVIEW:

ROLE
The Store Manager is accountable for the day-to-day operations of the store and overall financial health of the shop. This position holds a high responsibility to attract talent, lead, coach, manage performance and develop store employees. Previous people management experience is required. The Store Manager is the highest-ranking manager for the shop they are assigned to and is responsible for all operational aspects of that shop.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a representative list of the general duties the store management position may be asked to perform and is not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned as needed, including, but not limited to, managing the operational productivity of unit growth to ensure that the store unit is meeting all of its objectives.
· FIDUCIARY MANAGEMENT: The Store Manager is responsible for achieving goals and targets outlined in the annual budget. Creating and maintaining an environment that is conducive to the continued growth of the business. This also includes business analytics, loan portfolio management, inventory asset management and sales productivity.
· COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT: It is the responsibility of the Store Manager to ensure that all business is conducted within City, State and Federal business guidelines, and requirements and compliant with all related ordinances. It is also the Store Managers responsibility to ensure that all licensing is current and in good standing.
· TALENT MANAGEMENT: it is the responsibility of the Store Manager to ensure that the shop unit is fully staffed at all times, that there is a comprehensive succession plan in place and that team members receive all required training. This includes recruiting top talent and sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels as needed, providing corrective discipline as needed, providing the appropriate feedback to subordinate coworkers to include coaching, training as well as annual reviews to staff members. The Store Manager is responsible for all disciplinary actions and to bring urgent employee matters to the attention of the Director of Operations and Human Resources. Responsible for annual review process and overall performance of team and store.
· ASSET MANAGEMENT: It is the responsibility if the Store Manager to ensure that all compliance requirements are consistently met. To maintain all security provisions and ensure that all related security equipment is in full functioning order. To train and hold accountable all subordinate staff members to expectations and provide couching and correction as needed.
· FACILITY MANAGEMENT: It is the responsibility of the Store Manager to ensure that the facility they are assigned to is in good repair and all known concerns are being addressed in a timely manner.
· CUSTOMER SERVICE: It is the responsibility of the Store Manager to facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing any customer issues to meet the high expectations and standards of the company.
· CODE OF ETHICS: It is the responsibility of the Store Manager to ensure that all employees and management conduct themselves within the companies established Code of Ethics and that all business conducted within the unit and their sphere of influence is done in accordance with the companies’ code of ethics.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications for all Store Management Levels:
· Minimum 18 years of age
· Previous people management experience required
· Entrepreneurial spirit
· Strong business background
· Experience in financial and budgetary processes
· Innovative attitude to implement new strategies within industry
· Ability to lead others
· Strong desire to work, serve internal and external customers, and work with people; team oriented
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Cash handling experience required
· High energy sales personality with knowledge of jewelry and general merchandise
· Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
· Solid written and verbal communication skills
· Analytical skills
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Excellent work ethic and strong business sense
· Computer literate and able to use common office machines
