Job Description - Shop Operator

Benefits:

Director of Print Production

Hours:

Monday – Friday

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Status:

Exempt

Shop Operator

The Warehouse Operator should possess good organizational and communication skills. The Warehouse Operator should feel comfortable splitting their time between front-office and back-office duties as outlined below.

Responsibilities:

General Front Office Duties

Check Mail Daily

Take out Trash

Clean Dishes

General Shop Duties

Drain water from air-tank

Empty recycling

Shipping:

Shipping & Receiving Packages & Manufactured Materials

Shipping expense reconciliation

Production (Back-office duties):

Assist with Digital Production

Assist with Offset Production

Assist with Wide Format Production

Assist with Grand Format Production

Assist with Direct to Garment (DTG)

Assist with Embroidery

Assist with Manufacturing

Printing

Cutting

Finishing

Assist with Order Entry (if needed)

Assist with Inventory Management

Moving and stacking paper

Drive mailing trays to DHS post office

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Basic Computer Skills

Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications or the ability to learn

Proven experience in Brand Management, or in other sales/customer service role

Excellent written, verbal, presentation communication skills and ability to build relationships

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure

Strong organization and project management skills

Friendly and personable demeanor

A business acumen

Enthusiastic and passionate about finding technological and data-driven solutions

The ability to lift and move heavy objects

The ability to stand for extended periods.

Forklift certified

Clean driving record

Compensation: $18.50 per hour
