Key responsibilities:
• Ability to accurately operate manual drill presses, lathes, milling machines, boring
machines and precision grinding machines.
• Must be able to single-point cut threads on a manually operated lathe.
• Ability to keep tight tolerances
• Must be able to machine a part without a blueprint -- Reverse Engineering
• Ability to work on various metals, including stainless, chrome moly, brass, bronze, carbon
steel, titanium, Stellite, cast steel, and aluminum, different alloys.
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, evenings, and Overtime when necessary
• May require periodic travel.
• Make tools and fixtures, as needed for special set-ups
• Apply machining knowledge to specialized field machining equipment.
Physical requirements:
• Capability to endure being on their feet all day
• Ability to read and understand drawings.
Compensation: Dependent on experience
