About the Role:
An e-commerce company in New York is hiring a Shopify & Meta Ads Lead to run its direct-to-consumer Shopify store day to day and be accountable for its growth. The role covers the hands-on work of the store, including product listings, pricing, promotions, merchandising, and site changes, along with the marketing that drives traffic to it. It is also the in-house counterpart to the outside partners handling Meta, email, and Google Ads, reporting to the CRO with a development team behind it and a short path from idea to live test.

Key Responsibilities

Running the Store

• Manage the Shopify store day to day, from product listings and collections to keeping content current and shipping updates on a steady cadence


• Own pricing and promotions, including offers, discounts, and free-shipping thresholds


• Merchandise the site across a large, seasonal catalog


• Direct design changes, either making them yourself or briefing the people who do

Conversion & Growth

• Test offers, pricing, landing pages, and checkout upsells to lift conversion


• Grow traffic and repeat business through SEO (including how the brand appears in AI search), email, referrals, affiliate marketing, and loyalty programs


• Set strategy, targets, and creative priorities for Meta, email, and Google Ads

Partners & Reporting

• Direct the Meta partner and the agencies running email and Google Ads


• Decide when to replace a partner or bring work in-house


• Build daily, weekly, and monthly reports that tie results to specific changes made, and report on the numbers directly to the CRO

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience running a Shopify store end to end, including listings, pricing, promotions, and merchandising


• Hands-on experience running Meta ads yourself, so you can direct an experienced outside team with credibility


• Proven direct-to-consumer growth on Shopify, with paid social, site conversion, and Klaviyo email working together


• Comfort in the Shopify admin, including basic theme and CSS edits, and a good eye for design


• Experience managing outside agencies, with the judgment to know when to replace one or bring work in-house


• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to build your own reporting and tell revenue from profit


• Comfort working with a large, seasonal catalog with tens of thousands of active SKUs


• Fluency with AI tools in daily work, including an understanding of their limits


• On-site in Midtown NYC, 5 days a week
