Job Description - Showroom Manager

VP Supply Corp is one of the nation’s largest distributors of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical supplies. With over 350 employees and 16 locations—including 7 showrooms—across Western New York and Pennsylvania, we have proudly served residential customers, contractors, and municipalities for over 60 years. Our showrooms showcase the latest in kitchen cabinetry, countertops, bath and kitchen plumbing products, and lighting.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Showroom Manager to lead our showroom team, drive sales, and enhance customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, retail sales experience, and a passion for home design. This role requires the ability to develop and implement strategies that ensure an efficient and customer-focused showroom operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, evaluate, and coach showroom staff to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Develop and implement policies, strategies, and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by handling inquiries, resolving concerns, and implementing strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Set and achieve measurable sales and operational goals.
  • Oversee showroom operations, ensuring a well-maintained and visually appealing space.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to staffing, inventory, and sales reporting.
  • Make informed decisions to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Utilize sales and marketing skills to promote showroom products and increase revenue.
  • Manage showroom financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and sales analysis.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and industry partners.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of retail management experience.
  • Experience in bath, kitchen, and lighting sales.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Knowledge of sales, marketing, and financial principles.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • This position operates in a retail setting, requiring frequent standing for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Some lifting or carrying of items up to 25 pounds may be required.
  • Routine use of office equipment such as computers and phones.
