For over 60 years, we have proudly served residential customers as well as contractors and municipalities across a variety of industries. 

Position Overview:

Our Innovations at VP Team is seeking to hire a Showroom Sales Associate with customer service or sales experience to join our Clifton Park showroom. We have 7 showroom locations across NYS and Pennsylvania, and we offer all of the latest kitchen cabinetry, countertops, bath & kitchen plumbing products and lighting.

Responsibilities:

• Work with homeowners, builders, and contractors in regard to new construction and remodeling projects. 
• Provide sales and consulting services to trade/design customers, industry partners, and retail customers. 
• Provide superior customer service to both VP’s existing and potential customer base to ensure complete customer satisfaction.  
• Generate quotes for current and prospective clients.  
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and their representatives.
• Coordinate scheduled showroom visits, as well as handle walk-in customer appointments. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience in a retail or commercial environment is preferred. 
• Kitchen, bath or lighting background and product knowledge, highly desired. 
• Must be detailed oriented and able to meet customer deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to time sensitive commitments to respond to customers and deliver excellent customer service.  

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• This job operates in a retail setting, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers and phones. While a somewhat sedentary role, frequent standing on feet up to 8 hours/day and some lifting or carrying of items up to 25 pounds may occasionally be required.
