Job Description - Showroom Sales Consultant

We continue to grow and are looking for another Plumbing & Appliance Showroom Sales Consultant for our Phoenix, AZ branch. We would love to find someone with experience in home products, but more importantly are looking for an intelligent & charismatic person that loves their clients and helps them to design their dream bath and kitchen!
The Plumbing & Appliance Showroom Sales Consultant increases sales, market share, company profitability and customer satisfaction by working with the consumer, designer, contractors, and their clients in selecting plumbing fixtures and related items for kitchens and baths. Showroom Sales Consultants provide expert product selection assistance, finding the perfect product for each client and expediting orders from internal buyers and outside vendors to make sure client selections are received when they need it and are thrilled at what you have helped them select for their home.
To be successful in this position, you need to be joyful & diligent, love to interact with people and help solve problems. We have a very busy plumbing and appliance showroom with amazing long-term employees and customers with whom you will interact every day. You must have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being perceptive and disciplined. A customer service approach is essential to assisting clients and facilitating their needs within our company.

Essential Functions
Meet with clients on the showroom floor to determine their needs & maintain accurate and organized customer files.
Client follow-up tracking orders from beginning to end regarding quotes and landing the sale.
Work with local outside salespeople to assist in following up with any issues.
Develop long-term relationships with builders, plumbers, and designers.
Read blueprints to ensure compatibility between product ordered and customer desire and needs.
Attend trade events, mixers & networking events to seek new clients and build relationships as well as continue your education in product & sales skills.
Job Requirements
Attention to detail & ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively while working well under pressure of deadlines.
Team player with excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Desire to exceed client & company expectations.
Strong consultative sales skills, negotiation, and interpersonal skills (both oral and written) with the ability to perform business math Sales = Profit!!
Able to handle difficult customers with diplomacy and tact as well as work productively with all departments.
High school diploma/GED highly preferred.
Minimum 2 years in similar position highly preferred.
